Railing Flooring

The request
For a supplier in system steel structures of, among other things, floors, we were asked if we could help them produce handrails made of curved round tube.

The challenge
Until this request, they were producing the railing themselves, using flat square profiles. However, these flat profiles on the railing were often used by visitors to put coffee cups on and this caused unsafe situations. The cups could fall down and they did. So that had to be changed. Our client initially solved this problem themselves by using round tubes that they cut to size on site and assembled together using all kinds of accessories such as bends and socket head screws. A labor-intensive and costly solution.

The solution
Having the round tube profiles prefabricated to size. Our client found in Buigmeesters a partner not only for bending the tube sections but also for a total package of extra service. Our extra service includes the complete customization and prefabrication of the handrail. A do-it-yourself package of galvanized parts, completely numbered so that our client can easily screw it together on site. As a result, assembly time on site is now significantly reduced.
